Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all.

What does Mother’s Day mean to you? Well, let’s go back to when mom first started being celebrated as a holiday. Back in 1914 President at the time, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating that Mother’s day would be the second Sunday in May.

Mother’s Day was actually started up in 1908 by a woman named Anna Jarvis. Around the world Mother’s Day is celebrated on different days for example. In Panama mother’s day is celebrated on December 8th.

Mother’s day is a day to celebrate your mom. As a kid, I remember getting so excited about mother’s day because I got to make something special and memorable for my mom.

As a mom myself I was blessed to get to have that opportunity for someone to adore me and give me those I love you mom poems and cute drawing that didn’t make any sense at all (lol). Being a mother is one of the greatest opportunities that women can go through because you never know how much you love someone until you’re in labor for 12 hours pushing them out.

There are women who don’t get the opportunity to have kid and no we don’t judge them. Society says you’re not a woman if you don’t have kids. Whether it’s by choice or by a medical reason she’s still a woman and fuck what society says. What’s normal anyway? Right?

I just wanted to give out a quick message of love and opportunity for the mom to say we are some of the HARDEST working beings on this planet. Enjoy your day and spend it with those you love.
